Correct 1961-1962 Tachometer, Full Sized
Part# 542850 (correct for 1962). Please note difference in adjustment knob. This knob is only used on 61 and 62 tachs. All were floor mounted only, either on a console or on the rug using a special adaptor (shown below). |

This mount held the tach just slightly off the floor to allow the carpet to fit under the tach. It is a very rare piece. |

No adaptor bracket was needed for the installation as in 63 & 64 cars. |

Pontiac spacer for either a console tach or vaccum gauge. We are not sure as to why these were ever used. Part #9781285 (rear view). |
