Because of recent failures, we recommend that you do not use these original 4 blade steel fans. On a recent project, we re-used the original 4 blade fan on a 66 Catalina convertible. We did not notice that the fan had a crack in the center between the mounting holes. The fan flexed under hard acceleration and took out a brand new aluminum radiator. So we replaced the radiator and the fan with a new carbon fiber flex fan. Problem solved. No more will we used these fans. Not sure when it cracked but it did. lk 9/19/2019
