Ordering a two-post lift…..
On July 13th, I ordered a two post lift for my new shop, from America’s Pride. I did so after looking at the companies website. It was full of red, white & blue, eagles and American flags. It kinda makes you think that just maybe, your lift might be made here in the USA. Wrongo. As with most of these sites, the lifts are made either in China or some other third world country and shipped by boat to the good, ole USA. Well, anyway, I needed a lift so I ordered one. Lets fast forward to today…October 25th. Guess what? Still no lift. After ten phone calls and numerous emails, still no lift.
Oh, I was promised delivery in two weeks. Then it went to four and then the free goodies were offered….a roll-around oil change pan, an ATV lift….anything to keep me on the hook. Every time I called, I was placed on hold, sometimes for 20 minutes or more. I left voice messages with no returned calls. Today, I had enough. I called and canceled my order after finding the same or better lift right here in Minnesota, 10 miles away. I pick it up on Monday. I asked the girl at America’s Pride if she handled calls like this all day and she said yes. Bottom line…these guys had my money since July 13th and oh yes, it takes 15 days to return it to my credit card. America’s Pride sucks and I urge you not to do any business with them. As always, my opinion! Thanks! Les

Hi Les,
You are right, i had a similar experience. Ordered a four post lift on September 19, with a promised delivery date of October 25. On October 12, I received an e-mail stating that the lift would be delayed at least 30 days. long story short, after numerous phone calls and e-mail, with only one response, I could not get a firm date of delivery. Fearing that the company was in trouble, I cancelled the order on October 16th. Here it is November 14 and I still do not have a refund on my credit card. What a horrible experience and a very non responsive company to deal with. Make you wonder what would happen if you had a problem with one of their lifts? I would not recommend them for a purchase.

Thanks for the info.
I haven’t been able to work them because they just stop answering the phone. the volume of complaints caused BBB to delist them, so that doesn’t work anymore. I have a Seekonk Detective who has promised to rattle their cage and have checked out their boiler room operation
myself will post pics eventually.

Notes from Les Kasten: I have placed Keith’s email address here so those of you that have problems with this company can contact him. I also filed a complaint with the BBB. I apparently am one of the lucky ones in that I finally received my lift and resold it the day it arrived. I lost $80 but it’s gone. Good luck to all of you who have dealt with this poor excuse for an American business.
