Please note the black finish. 1965 -1966 Bonneville and GP Consoles have a real wood inlay over the black area. 1967 – 1968 Bonnevile and GP Consoles have a teak contact paper finish. Either one can be removed to make the console a Catalina or 2+2 console. 1965 – 1966 cars with a 389 did not have a console emblem, nor did 1967 – 1968 cars with the 400 engine. Only 421 and 428 cars had the small emblem mounted on the console. By the way, I have never seen a Pontiac vacuum gauge factory mounted on a four speed console.
