1966 Pontiac Grand Prix, 376 Horse, 421, 4 Speed Car with Factory Air! Unbelievable!

You are bidding on a 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix 421 376HP HO 3-2's factory 4spd special ordered with factory air, RARE!!!!! This car is out of my private collection that I have owned for a few years in which I bought off of the second owner that had owned the car since the early 70's. The car was originally gold with black interior but the second owner had already painted the inside of the door jams and trunk and had the body in primer when I bought it so I went ahead and finished the car in black, and I am glad I did. The car has 81000 actual miles on it and has totally been gone through a full restoration. I have full documentation on this car, original sales invoice and order form, Protecto-plate, owners manual and other docs including the PHS and everything on this car is correct and came that way from the factory. They said you could not get the HO motor with a 4spd and get air but this one proves them wrong. I have talked with some Pontiac people and some of them have said they have seen a couple of 4spd air cars but this one is the first one I have seen. According to the PHS this is one of 572 Pontiacs with this engine, I do not have the break down of how many Grand Prixs were made with these options but I am certain this is one of the rarest out there.

The body on the car is very straight and has all of the original body panels with no rust issues ever. The car was sold new in South Carolina and stayed in the same town until I purchased the car. The paint on the car has been on there for over two years and looks great, all of the glass bumpers, chrome is original to the car but the chrome has been replated as you can tell.

The interior in the car is 100% original except for the headliner and the chrome bases for the doors, everything else is factory. The dash does have some cracks in it where it is starting to get brittle but I did not want to pull it out to have it redone. All of the aluminum trim in the interior has been repolished and looks better that new.

The engine and drivetrain on this car is original to the vehicle as well. The carbs still have the tags on them from the factory and so does the trans and rear end. The only thing that is not correct on the engine is it has 400 heads on it that cost 3500 to build so I kept them on there. I do have the original 421 HO heads and they have been gone through and are ready to go on the car is someone wants to swap them out. Still have the original valve covers as well. The car runs and drives great and has power for a big car you want believe!! I will list the options from the sales invoice and PHS that the car came with, if someone needs to see copies of the paper work I will be glad to send it to whomever. I also have tons of photos so please just ask if you need to see more, I am just showing 24 pics on my description. Please feel free to call and ask questions about this car before you bid, I would rather talk to someone so I can describe this car the best I can.

I have not charged the air up yet but it does have new compressor and everything has been checked, I do still have the original. This is not your typical Grand Prix so bid accordingly. 678-714-1688, 615-456-5376
