1962 Catalina Convertible from Ellsworth, WI

A one owner 1962 Catalina convertible from Ellsworth, WI (just across the MN boarder) with a 389, 3 speed on the column and power steering. Car has been stored many years and has 121,000 miles. It is factory red with the red tri-tone interior. The interior is nice except the front seat and carpet.

The only bad news is she needs a frame, due to incorrect storage inside of a barn. The frame is only bad above and behind the rear wheels. A replacement frame was located from Larry Groskopf along with a rebuilt 62 389 engine with 30 minutes run time from his brother John Groskopf, both from around the Oak Forest, IL area. The replacement frame has been sandblasted and painted and is in the final stages of assembly.

The floors and trunk are NICE! The front fenders will be replaced with MINT ones form California. Modifications to the car will be as follows: Installation of correct bench seat T-10 four speed and GP steering column, 8 lug wheels and 3-2's atop the rebuilt engine.

Don't worry!

I'll be keeping the original engine and all the three speed stuff just in case!
